Burnout Ballet is a theatre performance that started as an idea from a local news story about ‘burnout’ behaviour in Bendigo streets that resulted in an arrest. Create A has taken this idea and, with their typical inventiveness, delivers a show that has bar scenes, car scenes and dance routines. Burnout Ballet brings street culture head on with dance culture. The collision is high energy and a great deal of fun.

CreateA is an inclusive arts company based in Bendigo. CreateA makes new work across diverse visual and performance-based practices. CreateA was established in 2002 with the purpose of providing opportunities for people with disability to engage with contemporary arts practice and to present their work publicly. Bendigo Venues & Events partners with CreateA to develop and present original theatre performances. CreateA is a program of Golden City Support Services.
