BACKGROUND
Gateway Health is a multi-disciplined health care provider operating three
sites in northern Victoria. With an under performing salary packaging
program that was poorly administered, which resulted in frequent
employee complaints, Gateway Health sought a new ongoing provider
starting from the 2020/21 FBT year.
APPROACH
Eziway set-up Gateway Health with their web-based administration
platform, EAS. With EAS, the live data and self-serve functionalities that
Eziway’s Client Service Officers use to administer a program is the same
data and functionalities Gateway Health stakeholders and employees
utilise to interact with their accounts. EAS is also
a financially rated
account administration system designed to manage the most complex
salary packaging arrangement, FBT-exempt employers. Coupled with
this, Eziway incorporated their client-facing technology, which takes its
feed directly from EAS and is a clear point of difference in the market.
This includes a secure Employee Portal and MyEziwayAccount App that
permits Gateway Health employees to self-serve as they would using any
contemporary financial facility.
OUTCOME
As a result of Eziway’s in-house technological innovations, Gateway
Health now has a wholly- web-based salary packaging platform that
has significantly reduced errors and mismanagement of accounts.
Over a three-week period, Eziway visited all three sites across Victoria
for live employee on-boarding. After meeting with Eziway, employees
would return to their desk to find an email notifying them that their
packaging arrangements had been set-up. Eziway smoothly transitioned
202 participants, including 6 novated leases and 5-company provided
vehicles
